PNMA (pronounced PAN-ə-mah listen) is a Washington, D.C-based singer, songwriter, record producer, and vocal arranger. She’s written, recorded and produced music for renowned artists, including Joe Maye of NBC's The Voice; GRAMMY®-nominated vocalist Carolyn Malachi; GRAMMY®-nominated nominated multi-instrumentalist Kokayi as well as super artists M.O.P., Innanet James, RA the MC, Mick Jenkins, BOOMscat, Reesa Renee, Chaz French, Alex Vaughn, Mannywellz, and many others!
Her highly anticipated debut EP album—tentatively titled WTR—explores an eclectic blend of Neo Soul, 80’s Synthpop, Disco, and Hip-Hop. She describes this sound as an aural, genre-shattering isthmus rich with raw emotion, bounce, and sensuality that surveys the human condition.
PNMA is a 202Creates Fall 2018 Artist-in-Residence, and a voting member of the Recording Academy ™’s Washington, D.C. Chapter—Producers & Engineers Wing.
She holds a Bachelor of Music from Howard University with a concentration in Music Business, and 5 years of experience as a Program Coordinator and Event Producer for the DC Jazz Festival—producing shows at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, the University of the District of Columbia Theater for the Arts, Howard University and The Anthem. She, alongside her partner Reggie Volume (producer for Wale, Fabolous), form the production and songwriting duo “TheHVNs”.
